Trail Magic; unexpected acts of generosity while out on any hiking trail. It can have many forms - a cold soda, a ride into town, an offer for shelter, or a helping hand when you're in trouble. People who provide this kind of "magic" are often referred to as Trail Angels.

Producer Lemonface is, besides being a beatmaker, also an avid hiker. And to no surprise, he produced this excellent 4-track EP titled "Trail Magic" that is completely dedicated to the hiking subculture. His many long- and short-distance hikes have inspired beats that are soothing to the soul, with atmospheric sounds and mellow grooves.

From the synth-heavy NOBO (hiker slang for North Bound) to the bass-driven Hiker's Funk (referring not only to the funky bassline but also to the smelliness of a so-called thru-hiker after being on the trail for days, weeks, or even months), all four tracks bring an excellent pace to accompany you during your walks on the trail and a vibe that will make you appreciate the beauty around you. But, out of experience, we can also say the music here works well while chilling on the couch 😅
